You asked and so we have! New for 2026 is our Takeaway Afternoon Tea for Mother’s Day! We know that, for lots of different reasons, it’s not always possible to take your Mum out on Mother’s Day so we’ve come up with the perfect way to treat her at home - and to give her a little of the Imperial Hotel magic too – and we’re offering this alongside our dine-in Mother’s Day Lunch and Afternoon Tea here at Imperial Hotel.
So whether you’re planning a relaxed family gathering, treating Mum to a quiet afternoon in her own space or celebrating from a distance, our Mother’s Day Takeaway Afternoon Tea brings all the indulgence of the Imperial Hotel straight to your door. The only thing we can’t supply is a Jill, Tina or Grant to serve it to you – we just haven’t worked out how to clone our brilliant team yet!
Our Imperial Hotel Takeaway Afternoon Tea is perfect for mums who prefer comfort over crowds, for families with little ones or mobility needs or for anyone who wants to slow the day down and celebrate on their own terms. No dressing up, no rushing, no pressure – just beautiful food and time well spent together.
Each Takeaway Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea is still expertly and lovingly prepared by our brilliant Chefs, exactly as those served at the Hotel are. It’s just packaged to enjoy wherever you choose. Scroll down to see the menu.
A Children’s Afternoon Tea is also available for £12 per child, making it easy to turn Mother’s Day into a family moment everyone can share.
Payment in full is required at the time of booking. Please advise us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking. Takeaway Afternoon Teas need to be ordered by 5pm on Thursday 12 March for collection from Imperial Hotel on Saturday 14 March.
